Chemical Peels ABOUT PROCEDURE
Procedure Precision Peeling System is a clinical treatment system that invigorates sun-damaged skin, assists in the treatment of pigmentation, and helps treat acne. Procedure treatments are customised to each patient's needs.
A course of 4 – 6 peels at monthly intervals refreshes cell turnover rate and recreates a glowing, youthful skin tone. A typical peel takes around 20 minutes, and you can return to normal activities immediately. Following the peel, it’s important to maintain daily use of SPF 30+ sunscreen and any other home care that is prescribed to you. Sometimes patients experience mild shedding 2 to 4 days after their treatment.
THE TREATMENTS
L-Lactic - L-Lactic peels are ideal for refreshing sun-damaged and hyper-pigmented skin in patients under the age of 45. The L-Lactic peel promotes faster cell turnover and stimulates epidermal differentiation. This results in a reduction of fine lines and improvement in overall skin tone and texture.
BHA- BHA peels are used to target skin prone to pore blockages and breakouts. BHA (salicylic acid) is attracted to the lipid content of skin, particularly sebum, found predominantly in follicles. The peel helps to regulate the turnover of cells and shed unwanted cellular debris.
PA - Pyruvic Acid (PA) is a mild new peeling agent effective in treating inflammatory acne, moderate acne scars, greasy skin, actinic keratosis, and warts and is best for people over 40 years of age. When PA Peels are performed on a monthly basis, patient’s notice significant benefits including a healthier, more even complexion, smoother, more refined skin. Continued treatment with PA also reduces sallowness and restores a healthier, more youthful skin tone. This peel often gives a mild prickling sensation.
ASCORBIC ACID + DELIVERY SERUM- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) is a mild peeling agent ideally suited to use on highly pigmented skin (Fitzpatrick Skin Types IV to VI). Performed regularly, Ascorbic Acid peels can help resolve uneven pigmentation and provide exfoliation benefits for more reactive skin types. Procedure’s unique Delivery Serum system delivers pure Vitamin C to the skin’s surface in a hydrating, repairing emulsion.
Exolift Peels L-Lactic peels are ideal for refreshing sun-damaged and hyper-pigmented skin in patients under the age of 45.
